NEGATIVE: Concert DVD, Singles Collection On The Way

August 9, 2007

Finnish hard/glam rock band NEGATIVE has set "In the Eye of the Hurricane" as the title of its new DVD, tentatively due this fall. The disc will include a full NEGATIVE concert recorded at Pakkahuone in Tampere, Finland on December 8, 2006. The band is also planning to issue a collection of its singles, entitled "Fan Box". Exact release dates will be announced soon.

NEGATIVE's third album, "Anorectic", entered the Finnish chart at position No. 1.

In other news, NEGATIVE frontman Jonne Aaron is expanding his role in the music business by producing the new record of his brother Ville's band FLINCH.

"Jonne will produce FLINCH's new album. He's been supporting Ville with all the stuff he went through last year so the choice was kind of obvious", says the band's manager Tommi Liimatainen.

Ville's band has been through a lot of changes lately; Ville has had problems with alcohol and he's had to find a totally new lineup for the band.

"Now it seems everything's cool and there's no alarming alcohol epidemic in the Tampere rock scene anymore", chuckles Liimatainen.

Tommi goes on to hint about a possible duet between Jonne and Ville. "Everything's possible with those guys working together. And it would be a nice surprise if that kind of thing happened, don't you think?"

FLINCH's new album is scheduled for release in the fall. The band's debut album, "Kuvastin", has sold over 5,000 copies to date.
